Yesterday’s noon hour, things got rough. I had no desire to go running in the early season snowstorm, which is typical for this time of year in Ironwood.
But I dug in and did it anyway. I was miserable for most of the run. The wind was whipping and the snow was stinging my eyes. It was hard to breathe. It was hard to run in the snow.
As I neared the end of my workout, I was drenched in sweat, and I started to feel the rush. The high stayed with me for most of the afternoon.

That’s my tough girl! So proud of you pushing through like that for the win!

Thanks, Mom. I was proud of myself and went out again the next day with my friend. But yesterday, the storm really was too bad.
